This is truly a beautiful quote. I, too, like Rumi and the simple yet deep words conveyed. Nice!
Renee – glad to find another who enjoys Rumi!!
Allow love to live within us. Beautiful words
inspired.
Rumi is becoming one of my favorites … full of nuggets of wisdom as if he is a modern poet!! Thank you for visiting!!
wise words. ♥
Rumi is full of them! Thank you, dani!!
Love this, Becca. I enjoy having school kids write Cinquains to describe art when they visit the museum. Fun form and it teaches them a bit of grammer as well.
Victoria – I think the cinquain is a fun form as well … great idea for the kids!! Wish I had been exposed to writing poetry at an earlier age … it never too late … but just think what I could have written by now if I had started earlier!!
I will meditate on this one all day. thanks for sharing it.
Marilyn – I am glad you like it!! Hope it provides a peaceful meditation!!
Oh, that is a good one! Amazing how frightened and suspicious people can be/are about love. That Rumi certainly captured the nub of our lives!
I agree, Amy!! The more I read Rumi – the more I am amazed how “modern” he is!!
Lovely poem and I am very intrigued by chinquapin in your prior post. Such a great form. K.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit!!
