In reference to Pink Sandpaper:
Catching one of our cats’ tongues sticking out like this is rare. However, we have learned it is a sign of contentment.
If you have had your face licked by a “kitten” (cat) – you’ve had the first step to a great facial … exfoliation. To me, their tiny tongues feel like sandpaper!! I can tell you from first hand experience — this step of exfoliation helps diminish the signs of wrinkles!

So true, what a cute haiku about cats!
Clever!
i love the pink sandpaper
ugly man mask
: ) notmycat does it all the time – the contentment purrfect. : )
Perfect reporting on how our cats express their love for us. Having your eyelids sand-papered open at the first bird tweeter, pre-dawn, is SUCH a reminder of the feline’s devotion and insistence upon being served, thank you!
Love both the photo and Haiku…..well done….
Big smiles here. Love it. My kitty-fix for the day.
Gypsy deserves extra treats today — it’s Monday and you are BACK!!

I love this. You have captured the essence of cat.
A pink tiger purring, it looks like. Great cascading haiku, Becca!
