Spotlights bayou bend
Full moon glistening water
Travelers aware

My husband and I drove home (South Louisiana) for my mom’s birthday. We left Texas several hours later than planned.  Nonetheless, it afforded us the spectacular view of the full moon rising above the bayous as we traveled down the dark roads of bayou country!!  Ahh, it was good to be enveloped by cypress and moss!  Home Sweet Home! :-)

    How very important to watch for all turns in the S.Louisiana roads around all those bayous! Love my memories of how headlights are reflected on the water between the cypress knees and alligator eyes!
