Great tribute to Neil Armstrong! ….Awesomely composed haiku
Thank you, Valli. I enjoyed yours, it brought a smile and a chuckle.
Very nice tribute and lovely Haiku!
Thank you, Susan … I really enjoyed yours and the direction.
This is possibly the very best accolade/memorial to Neil Armstrong I have read since his passing on Saturday! Bless you, dear Becca!
Ahhh, granbee, thank you!
so much was happening in American in 1969, but the first steps on the moon absolutely took center stage…..it was the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, after all…..
Some events stay with you no matter how many years!!
RIP Mr. Armstrong !!!
What a wonderful tribute to Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon. I can remember that event quite well. I was just a young kid, but my parents loved to share that with my brother (he r.i.p.) and me. So we have seen the first steps Neil did on the moon. Maybe when he stepped on the moon it was a Blue Moon. I can’t remember the exact date and time.
Thank you Becca for sharing this.
PS.: I posted earlier today, but I wasn’t logged in on my wordpress account. So it could be that you find two posts of me in your comments.
Thank you, Kris … it was a challenging post, but enjoyable to see the end result.
Thank you for this wondefull tribute to Neil Armstrong. I was very young when he stepped on the moon, but I might see it from my parents. Really nice interpretation of this week’s Blue Moon theme of Tackle It Tuesday. Thank you for sharing.
I’ll never forget that auspicious day as long as I live…such pride in that moon landing. I lovely tribute to a wonderful, American hero.
Thank you … it was a memorable and historical day that did make our hearts swell. Thank you for visiting.
Becca dear,
This is the best interpretation for me. We grew up with him being a hero. What a lovely tribute. I am going to post this link on my FB if you don’t mind.
Absolutely — thank you for stopping for a visit. Have a blessed evening!!
What a fine tribute to Neil, Becca! This was a spectacular ‘first.’
Ahh, thank you Mary!!
Love the moon landings and was sad about Neil’s passing. “representing earth” is so right. He was our man, even if like me, you’re not American. Great post.
Thank you for your feedback and visit. I appreciate it. Neil Armstrong was a true champion.
