love once shattered to pieces can grow again, but faith/trust is far more fragile. beautiful and honest question my dear friend.

I agree with you, trisha! The duo of faith and trust in many instances are a better compass than love!

I was a chaplain in a youth detention center for a year. This is really one of the ultimate questions these kids face. When all…system, school, parents, faith…have failed them and broken promises, where do they find faith? Can they? So sad and hard to overcome.

My husband is a teacher at a judicially based alternative school system … it is indeed sad of many of the situations of the kids, and inspirational for the ones who can hurdle the obstacles and see the value of faith! Thank you for your visit!

Tis true, faith can be fragile and must be renewed daily. Renewal is impossible when all is shattered.

It seems impossible, but I am a walking proof that shattered faith can be restored….time and love heals all. Hugs, pat

Thank you Mike and Pat for your comments … fortunately for me – despite similar circumstances … my faith has always remained. Sometimes close to the drying point, but always enough remnants available to hold onto. Renewal is important as well – and the drive, courage and grace to know there is a reason for it all … or life makes absolutely NO SENSE!!! Thank you for your visit! becca
