Relayed on the Wind

Passionate chirping …
Majestic hummingbird’s strain …
Relayed on the wind

Lovely poem, Rebecca. I never hear a humming bird chirp, only the sound their wings make. We have lots of them here…three different kinds. I have a feeder by my kitchen window so I can watched them up close. One of my favorite floresta creatures. One made a tiny nest the size of your thumb on an energy line above the door to the veranda. hugs, pat

I have heard them sing, chirp and buzz at feeders … once I figured out their song … it is the easiest to distinguish among our birds. Always lifts my spirit to hear them … 🙂
