As part of the festivities to celebrate National Poetry Month (April) and poetry itself, and to honor poets, especially poets who are regular participants in Thursday Poets Rally and Jingle Poetry, nominations were made, and peers voted.
I am humbled and honored to be one of the recipients for the Outstanding Poets of National Poetry Month Award for 2011. There are many excellent poets/poetesses to share this spotlight. It is well worth the time to visit their blogs and peruse their creativity. Please honor their contributions by sharing your comments and insights.
I thank Jingle and the Thursday Poets Rally and Jingle Poetry for your amazing and tireless effort in inspirational prompts, support and encouragement; as well as the regular participants who contribute to the community. I have learned much from you in the past three months. Thank you for bestowing me with this honor.
