What a couple of whirlwind weeks!

OMG!

The “publish button” located in the Dashboard of “On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea” was clicked for the first time on January 25, 2011.

Since starting, the journey down this unexpected path has been an amazing adventure. This undertaking continuously involves an up and down learning curve … resulting in numerous benefits including personal growth, self-reflection, self-discovery, inspiration, exploration and encouragement, as well as support from the readers, and encounters with other poets and their incredible creativity.

I am not even sure where to begin!  … For someone unaccustom to purposefully drawing attention or being in the “limelight” — these past couple of weeks have been soaring with positive, nurturing validations … all unexpected, humbling but nonetheless gratifying.

Please indulge me this post, as I want to share with you these astonishing developments!

Today, I am featured in the Jingle’s Poetry Community‘s weekly edition of “Meet the Poet” … after asking me a few questions, Blaga of Broken Sparkles generously completed this interview for week 36’s edition.

I must admit, my words look different when read with unconnected thoughts of an observer. As I was reading it this morning, I asked myself, at several points, “Did I really write that!?!” … and in searching the title – I identified … I did. 🙂 You can find this interview, here.

Yesterday, a new blogging fur-friend, Max and his delightfully witty human, Judy featured Brushes Jump on their blog, creativitytothemax. After visiting and reading their blog, I always leave Max and Judy with an uplifted spirit. Judy and Max featured two of my posts, here.

“On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea” was featured on another segment of Jingle’s Poetry Community named Sunday’s Rally Dispatch on Sunday, May 29th. After perusing through all the pages of this nook, Jamie Dedes of Musing by Moonlight asked if I would agree to answering a few questions. Jingle’s Poetry Community featured both Sam of Cerca Trova and me in week 35’s edition. You can read this interview here.

Incorporate all of this excitement with our birthday celebrations and the end of the school year for Ray, I feel like I have been crowned Queen (or at least Princess) for the day!

Thank you for allowing me to share this news with you!
