It is what keys are used for and when that determines whether they are obstruction of protection. And even then… people disagree. This is a question with tangled threads of viewpoint and story.
Definitely a buffet for thought.

Much as love’s paradoxes, isn’t it ? You can use a key to open up a closed room and let the sunlight filter in, to let friends walk in, to let in the breeze that will carry away the staleness of monotony…or…you can imprison it, locking it within, to smother in the confined space to become mildewed and cobwebby. Entirely, our choice.
