You’re Nearer Still

I sense you in
the midst watching me …
You offer me proof
in a gentle whisper

Shimmering veil of energy
Seeing you in flowers …
You offer me hope
in the breeze’s caress

Spirits transcend physical forms
Realizing you’re nearer still …
Surrounded in your love
Eyes brimming with tears

  3. “Spirits transcend physical forms,” oh yes, it’s true. This is lovely writing, Becca, and your grasp of the Divine is lovely inspiration for poetry. I also appreciate that you don’t bonk people over the head with any particular belief system or path… a transcendent journey. Amy

Amy – I am on this journey of self-discovery … if anything I share is inspirational or beneficial to another – then it is “lagniappe” for everyone around … I often just pen what comes to me – through me … rather than compose on my own. Thank you for the feedback — it is most appreciated! 🙂
