  1. I totally agree, our ‘Manners’ and old fashioned teachings of ‘Respect’ have gone .. This is why we are suffering the violence upon our Streets here in the UK at this moment.. As the Youth think they are above the Law… Unfortunately ‘DO-Gooders’ whose only aim was in protectiong Children have made it hard via the law to disapline the Youngters of today, And so they grow up within their homes, schools etc knowing that they can get away with many things and Not be held accountable or disaplined.. As they have their Age on their side… ( Many are just teenagers who are now rioting in London, Manchester, and Nottingham. And who are looting from shops and setting fires to them and Cars.. )
I think maybe its time to have a re-think on societies prioities for We are ALL of us responsible in bringing up our children and should be teaching them again the basic values of respecting elders, and the harmony of a family unit.. Instead we maybe have all been guilty of following the selfish path in this Materialistic World.. Where it seems possessions hold more value than Life!.. As we see those who rob/steal and commit crimes Etc..

A very powerful Quote you have found here Becca and one which provoked my own thoughts.. many Blessings to you.. 🙂

It is indeed sad – many of the common courtesies are losing favor in families … for that matter – the once stronghold of families is losing its integrity and support of culture and society.

  2. Yes … where have our manners gone??? There is a whole lot of that gone.
