I thought I’d be happy once the heavy heat was behind us, but the slight chill in the air at night makes me a little sad that summer is drawing to a close. Well done 🙂

A great haiku.
We could do with some of your heat – our English Summer has been a bit damp and chilly.

I so feel for you, Becca, and don’t know how you manage. I don’t do well in heat anymore, although I grew up in So CA. I’ve been in the NW too many years and if we get too much heat I think I will simply melt. Hang in There! 🙂

The sunflowers in the picture match the sad little guys across the walkway from our apartment. Very effective “weary” haiku, Becca, matching season to temperature. So true! Here’s mine, plus a 3WW extra. Thanks so much! Amy
