The Height of Haiku Challenge
Day 28 Prompt:
Charm
Clever! With much chagrin I’d have to admit that I have been classed by some as one of those silver tongued ones though I would have to mention that most of the time it would not be one’s heart that needs guarding!

Another blogger wrote about people charming us in comments…about sincerity vs. charm. I once dated a man who used charm consistently. When I asked him to stop, he was stunned. When he asked why, I explained that it was a form of manipulation and dishonesty. He said it was good manners and an art. It said that surely lying is therefore an art too!
The other deception about charmers? We never know who they are because they hide behind that facade. In fact, neither do they know who they are!

Amy – I couldn’t agree with you more … charmers can be deceptive and there is fine line of deciphering!!
