One of the inspirational bloggers I regularly follow is Amy of SoulDipper. A recent post, A Word Orgy That Works, tackles the reasons or excuses 😉 we conjure up in our mind not to write …. censoring of our work playing a big role. She quotes inspiration from Madeleine L’Engle, an American writer (November 29, 1918 – September 6, 2007), best known for her Adult Fiction Work; a recipient of Newbery Award. Please visit Amy for the complete post.
While you are visiting, meander around her blog for additional nuggets of inspiration and wisdom.
Amy included the following video clip which further illustrates the love of words and the “permission” some of us may value. Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing the message, Becca. When we have company while doing The Work, it’s like play! The inspiration you give others through your writing ripples out into unknown hearts and voices. Imagine if ego had won and you hadn’t started this outlet for goodness!

A year ago, if someone had told me I would be blogging or painting – I would have laughed. And if I was told I would have followers and generous commentators, I would have been more nervous than I was and laughed even harder – you know those fitful laughs that start over seemingly nothing and escalate to not being to catch your breath and tears streaming down your face?! 😀
To meet you and get to play too … how fun!! The rewards are immeasurable. If someone “gets” the message – even if it’s only one – then I consider it a successful day in the blogging world!! Thank you for letting me share!
