In a world filled with darkness
One candle flame
multiplies
Illuminating the world
Flicker by flicker
Offering beacons of hope to all
Setting the path ablaze with light

To begin …
I happily pass the torch to the following “Candle Lighters”:
(I will add more as I go … so the list will continue to grow)
- Amy at Soul Dipper
- Judy and Max at Creativity to the Max
- Pat at Source of Inspiration
- Terri at What About God?
- LeRoy at Wordsmith’s Desk
- Sue Dreamwalker at Dreamwalker’s Sanctuary
- Isadora at Inside the Mind of Isadora
- Laurie at Conversations with Laurie

Thank you for being a light in the world!

The Candle Lighter Award was created by Kate Kresse at Believe Anyway.
She states “My purpose is to light a candle in the darkness that envelopes us all at times. I want to lighten loads and light the way. I gravitate towards positive people and positive blogs. I want to start a blog award that reflects my love for the positive in the blogosphere.”
Further excerpt from her award post:
What does the recipient have to do to accept it? “Just accept it and put the Candle Lighter Award badge from my blog onto their blog. Please put the link from this post about my creation of the award in a post on your blog so people can read about it.”
What else do recipients have to do? “Nothing. If they do think someone else is a Candle Lighter, they can surely give them the award anytime they want and as often as they want.
- Their is no limit to how many blogs you award The Candle Lighter Award
- No limit to how many times someone can receive it.
- But when you do, I ask that you use the link for this post.”

Wonderful idea and well deserved by all of the above. I love ‘Illuminating the world’ for it only does take one kind word or deed to show others the miracle of life. Thank You!
