Mellow Yellow Monday #164

I stumbled upon Mellow Yellow Monday, whose specialty is all things yellow. Intrigued, as yellow is my favorite color, I decided to interject some “sunshine” for the winter months.

The prompt seems simple according to the introduction and directions:
Mellow Monday states … “I chose yellow for this photo meme because it’s my favourite colour and I think the world is always better with a splash of yellow … whether it’s in your home or in nature.

The rules are pretty simple:
1. Every Monday post a photo with a little or a lot of yellow.
2. Please only post photos you have authority to use.
3. Include a Mellow Yellow Badge or a link to this blog in your post.
4. Leave the link to your Mellow Yellow post below on Mr. Linky.
5. Visit other blogs listed … comment & enjoy!”

Thank you everyone for your generous comment about my yellow and periwinkle kitchen. I do love it … I was hesitant about submitting it to MYM … 😀
It was one of my favorite rooms in our 100+ year old house … each room is painted a rich jewel color … definitely not beige, beige-er and beige-est!

  9. Fabulous submission for Mellow Yellow Monday …
when you said you love yellow you weren’t kidding. I love the combo wih the periwinkle. I always enjoy when people go outside the box when decorating. As a former interior decorator, ( before my jewelry business ) I always had the hardest time convincing my clients to think about color; beige was as daring as some would get. With my love of color I was always frustrated … BUT … the customer is always right. Lovely kitchen full of charm and joy
    Hugs,
    Izzy
