If I had a dream, what would I see ~
Would I fly over the moon or under the sea
Would I visit the fairies or they visit me
If I had a dream, what would I see ~
Would the darkness of fear take over
Would I be running through briars
If I had a dream, what would I see ~
Would I fly over the moon or under the sea
Would I remember in the morning with clarity
If I had a dream, what would I see ~
Would it seem real or a fantasy
Would I dance through meadows or run like a banshee
If I had a dream, what would I see ~
Would I fly over the moon, or under the sea

Wonderful set of options here for dreaming. And I love the illustration. So greedy am I in my dreaming, I want to do all of this!

So lovely! The poem reminds me of Shel Silverstein’s “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” – not so much because of the words or rhyme, but because of that wide-eyed anticipation that comes with possibilities.
