Pink Sandpaper

Challenging to mask
Pink sandpaper emerges
Purring motor runs

Purring motor runs
Her coquettish demeanor

In reference to Pink Sandpaper:

Catching one of our cats’ tongues sticking out like this is rare.  However, we have learned it is a sign of contentment.

If you have had your face licked by a “kitten” (cat) – you’ve had the first step to a great facial  … exfoliation.  To me, their tiny tongues feel like sandpaper!!  I can tell you from first hand experience — this step of exfoliation helps diminish the signs of wrinkles!  😀

Perfect reporting on how our cats express their love for us. Having your eyelids sand-papered open at the first bird tweeter, pre-dawn, is SUCH a reminder of the feline’s devotion and insistence upon being served, thank you!
