Freedom
Costs dearly
Remembering dedicated service
Selfless sacrifices of many

Memorial Day is a federal holiday observed annually in the United States on the last Monday of May. Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Formerly known as Decoration Day, it originated after the American Civil War to commemorate the fallen Union soldiers of the Civil War. By the 20th century Memorial Day was extended to honor all Americans who died in all wars.
I wish to express my appreciation for all the military men, women and animals who selflessly dedicated their lives for our personal freedoms in the United States. I also appreciate the dedication and sacrifices of our allies as well.
Thank you!!
