I sat on the porch when it rained today and it was like being in a rainforest…with wonderful sights and sounds–a respite.

It’s been raining a lot here in BC. I like this moving picture and your soothing words…

We had a HUGE deluge here that was just like this for our town!

  4. Raven says:

One can feel the refreshment here.

The image is much like the view from my window over the past week. It’s so easy for us to moan about the fact that the sun hasn’t been shining much in England of late, ruining our Jubilee celebrations with heavy downpours and ferocious winds. So it’s refreshing for me to be handed another perspective, one that is practical and hopeful as well as truly poetic. Thank you, Becca. Oh! The sun has come out! 🙂

  6. What a cool picture! I love the rain. Just sitting or laying around and listening to it is so relaxing!

  7. The Earth is certainly cleansing us at the moment with all the rain… :-).. Clever Becca what you can do with a few letters. 🙂
