    Good day Becca, thank you for submitting this wonderful Summer Solstice haiku to “Tackle It Tuesday”. As you can see this comment is given through my wordpress account Basho2012, but it’s just me Chèvrefeuille (a.k.a. Kristjaan Panneman).
    I am glad that you’re again a contributor to “Tackle It Tuesday”.

    Namaste

    love your image! and i like thinking of the summer solstice renewing one’s lease on life! {it’s usually around 110 degrees here on the solstice so i tend to hibernate inside under the air conditioner.}

      I think we were in the 100s as well for the Summer Solstice ~~ IF a breeze is blowing I can tolerate it, but if not — I must retreat for AC … spoiled, I know!! :-)

      Thank you for all your visiting, and feedback, dani! Keep cool!

    I like the equinoxes and the solstices; they are so intertwined with nature.

    I’d like some sunshine right now to renew my spirits! ;)

    Lovely.

    Did you do the artwork? I like it.

    • becca givens says:

      The artwork isn’t mine, Jamie — the credit is at the bottom … There are several images of it online. I like it’s color and construction. Thanks for the visit.

    This post says exactly how my farming family felt at the beginning of summer every year–another year of opportunity to work with the earth for abundant supplies of food of all types for our own household and much to share with others. Our family truly felt a “new lease on life” at the Summer Solstice each year.

  7. Raven says:

    Becca, thank you for the “renewal” in your haiku and for the “Tackle It Tuesday” link.

    A clear message of the amazing quality of the natural rhythm….

"I would love your feedback!"
