woven in starlight
moonbeams dance over shadows
Hyde Park Poetry Week has returned for Thursday Poet’s Rally. It re-opened with Thursday Poets Rally Week 71 (August 22-29, 2012).
To refresh our memories and return us to the “mood”, entries from the last Rally in March 2011 were included. It was nice to revisit poets I had not read in quite some time; and read the current entries of familiar poets as well as experience the creative writing of new ones.
I am honored for the recognition among those selected to receive the latest award. My entry for this rally was Sizzling.
As in the past, we are asked to accept our award along with a nomination of another poet. I would like to nominate Tigercity’s Blog
If you are not familiar with Hyde Park Thursday’s Poets Rally, you will enjoy time spent reading the contributions of the other Perfect Poet Award winners for Week 71. Congratulations to all the winners.
Congratulations on this wonderful award for “Sizzling” of August 18 here on your blog. And how wonderful it is when moonbeams weave into our dreams and awaken us with joy!
Hi & thanks ever so much for the nomination.. I don’t know if this means I’ve been chosen or not and what I need to do but it’s touching all the same.. your haiku is lovely too.. awake awake in more than one sense of the word..
