My hubby’s Uncle and Aunt lived in Hopewell, N.J. many, many years ago. He was around 10 years old (now 66) when his family would visit them. They lived in the country. His Uncle built his own house. He remembers lots of trees with foliage like this. To me, these are the colors of Autumn no matter where you live. Nice photo, Becca.

I love to see this color because it just “blazes” and stands out … making a definite impression. We went to a very lovely tea room in Hopewell last Saturday. Unfortunately, these trees will be stripped bare by the onset of Hurricane Sandy’s ravages. 😦 I am glad to have witnessed the glories. Sending prayers to the North East.
