Woven by one’s hands
Accepted by my heart
This is written in the form of Elfje … an Elfje is a Dutch form consisting of 11 words spread over 5 lines!

I’m off to a Healing Seminar in December and my homework has those types of energy bursts. Now I have to call you the Elfje Elan – as opposed to the Haiku Hottie! 🙂
😀 … LOL … Amy, you are too cute for words!!! 😀
Ah does this relate to care for a parent? It resonates with me, good care is indeed priceless x
These 11 words say so much, so eloquently yet simply, Becca. I love the lines ‘care provided, woven by one’s hands’ ~ they remind me of the work my husband does with elderly and disabled clients, how much they appreciate his work and how much wisdom they share with him in return. As you say, ‘Priceless’. 🙂
I looked up the Elfje poem structure..very interesting. And probably very hard to get one’s mind around. But I like it very much.
Thank you for sharing this interesting poem … and awesome photo.
Neat ~ looks like a holograph ~ lovely haiku ~ ( A Creative Harbor ^_^) on blogger ^_^
Actually, Carol, it is what is called an Elfje — a Dutch poetry form of 11 words.
That is the coolest picture!
