    Very colorful – A celebration?
A historic festival honoring French heritage?

Well, it’s not the Louisiana state flag, but that fleur-de-lis certainly suggests NOLA and Louisiana. I’m curious!

  3. A colourful entrance! Not sure what the flag means, but I notice that one symbol on the flag appears on the pot too!

The symbol is a Fleur-de-lis … which means “lily” in French. The fleur de lis was used by French monarchy. The French settlers who settled to Louisiana brought the symbol with them. Today it is a cultural emblem of the state of Louisiana and its people. It is now the symbol of the state of Louisiana. This is the flag of Acadians of Louisiana.
