Sunday Trees – 93

Sunday Trees - 93Grand Coteau, Louisiana

A couple of weeks ago, my hubby accompanied me “home” to Louisiana so he could visit with my mom before the school year started.  Upon returning home, we took a quick trip down memory lane.  This is one of the side lanes leading up to the boarding school I attended in high school.  Sadly, the lush stands of trees throughout the area were diminished from the onslaught of hurricanes, such as Katrina (2005), Rita (2005), Gustav (2008) and Ike (2008).

Magnificent trees and to be able to see them so close. I simply love trees of all kinds. Sorry to have been lax as late. The last few months have been hectic but am trying to get back into things now.
