Nature at its best – well captured Becca. I didn’t know the name but they do grow here as creepers. Reminds me of my mom’s place when she was there. It is strange that we associate fruits and flowers and plants with those who have left us. Just memories.

I know EXACTLY what you mean … I never liked amaryllis. I always thought the flower looked too heavy for the long stalk but they were one of my dad’s favorites … I am preparing to grow some now that he is gone! 😀

There was this guava fruit tree at her place. We used to savour the fruits. One day I brought home some and kept the seeds. For some reason, her tree didn’t survive. Meanwhile one seedling grew and now it stands tall and has begun giving fruits. I guess nature heals. Good luck with the amaryllis.
