Our host, Chèvrefeuille of Carpe Diem Haiku Kai introduces a new feature this month — Ghost Writer. The Ghost Writer features segments introduced by some of the amazing talent of regular participants and contributors to Carpe Diem Haiku Kai.   The first is JulesPage of julesgemsandstuff.

JulesPage, a lovely renegade poet, challenges herself daily with mixes of various short-form poetic media.   She first introduced me to the Dutch form of Elfje —- consisting of 11 words spread over 5 lines.   My contribution of mixed media for today: — a Haiku/Senryu (5-7-5) finished with an Elfje (11 words in 5 lines).
