I entered my second art show. Each artist could register up to four (4) choices. I selected 3 recent completions, and one older one for a total of four. (selections) As part of the rules — each piece is named, and each piece is for sale. This was an “agonizing” step. 😀
Those familiar with my art know I purposely leave the names off the introduction; allowing the viewer the ability to insert their own title according to what the individual perceives.
March 30th, I received an email informing me … I “won an award for one of my paintings for the 2014 Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild Spring Show” — only I did not know for which one. 😦
I was in Texas and had to wait until I returned to Louisiana for my two-week stint of care for my mom to find out. I returned earlier in the week. Out of curiosity, I wanted to “run out” and view the show and gaze upon my new award as soon as possible! However, due to some circumstances with my mom, I had to wait until the end of this week.
So without, further ado … here it is — Ta Dah … 😀
Envelope of Love
On a side note, I find it amusing to associate “composition” with meditative abstract.
