Lovely, Becca. I liked it when we were in Wyoming in spring and the mountains were carpeted with wildflowers. We go in August now and I still love it, but I miss the profusion of flowers.

Enchanting colors, wow! We don’t have that kind of flowers here in Belgium growing wild, they’re lovely … (luckily we do have others ;-])
Wish you a bright and colorful weekend

Thank you, Polly. I have heard another indicate the resemblance. Nothing like a field of them to lift the spirits. Thank you for leaving a note! 😀

It is wonderful to see fields of them, or random patches … Lifts my spirits — and I am not even originally from Texas!! Thank you, Crystal for visiting.

Thanks, Linda — I have to say it is one of the things I look forward to each spring — when those patches of purply blue start popping up — my spirits sing. Ladybird Johnson certainly left a wonderful legacy. I am sad when the time comes and the areas are mowed. Hopefully we have a little more time left. I don’t remember them lasting as long last year — maybe it was the winter!! Other types are beginning to arrive as well. 😀
