2nd Greeter – Michelle’s Weekly Pet

Michelle's weekly 39 - 2nd Greeter (1)

My husband and I joined a Home Grown Farm sharing program for the summer.  This was the second of the two greeters waiting for participants.  Our first greeter was in front of the loading dock accruing attention; whereas our 2nd greeter was nestled deeper in the warehouse – keenly observing but not seeking attention.  It will be interesting to observe if there are changes in interaction during the summer.

Hmmm, on second thought — perhaps each was doing their respective job assignments. Our first greeter fulfilled her role in greeting the participants, while our 2nd greeter’s assignment may be to guard “the goods”.  I will inquire during my next scheduled pick-up. 😀

  3. He’s lovely Becca, and sounds like a great idea. My dogs would jump all over people to greet them, but I bet this doggie was very well behaved. 🙂

  7. Haven’t ever heard of a Home Grown Farm sharing project, Becca ~ sounds like a brilliant idea. We have farm shops but the produce is more expensive and can be less abundant than commercially grown fruit and veg. The second greeter looks alert and inquisitive ~ so maybe this noble animal is ‘on guard.’ Lovely post! 🙂
