Of course, I’m ready for Christmas. Since my wife does not like for us to celebrate it (not quite sure why not) I am always ready. She does not wear jewelry so I lucked out all around. This year for our wedding anniversary I got her specially printed and colored M&M’s and she was mad at me cause she had sworn off chocolate! Up until she unwrapped her present!

Me either — I didn’t realize until a few minutes ago — it is exactly midway — 6 months out from either 2013 or 2014. BTW — I love the idea of Christmas in July. I use to go to a summer camp — where we celebrated it … fun memories for me!!

oh that’s so fun. I didn’t go to many camps as a kid but I would have loved that. We had Halloween at a summer camp I worked at last year oddly enough, but no Christmas (most the kids were Jewish).

It WAS fun — we even picked names earlier in July and “secretly” made something for them. The counselors would dress up like Santa with big knapsacks, call out our name and deliver our gift to each of us — and giggling ensued. 😀

Mom usually has her Christmas shopping done by August but the last couple of years she has been a slacker. 😀 Me too — it was the only “gold” photo I had — and seems so out of place for late June ~~ and ironically the 25th of it … 6 months out or in — whatever way you look at it. 😀
