    Oh. OH. OH!!! That little bit of pink suggests they did it right, too. A dip each of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Then syrup, whipped cream, nuts, and the cherry. I see its stem!

      Linda – it was NOTICEABLY GINORMOUS!! Apparently this little cafe is known for them – because there were several “splits” around by the time we had eaten our lunch and preparing to leave. Mind you it was in the 40s (temperature – wise). The people must have thought I was crazy when I asked if I could take a close-up photo of it – after I sneaked one from afar. 😀 My dad loved ice cream — I could see him eating all of it alone without hesitation or help!
