Satsuma
The satsuma is the traditional citrus grown by Louisiana homeowners. The fruit is easy to peel, has few seeds and separates easily into segments. The fruit turns from green to yellow as it ripens and to orange at full maturity. The fruit is edible when it shows some yellow color.
