I have a few favorite mugs I rotate… one has a Star Trek badge symbol; another my hubby’s name I like to use when he isn’t home, and then there’s a few more too…
Rearranging stuff on a shelf and I came across some of my children’s potter’s chi… clay artifacts from school years. Can’t eat from them. But they make me smile.

Ever since I started dating my husband seriously – I’ve collected pairs of pottered mugs from places I’ve traveled — similar but with enough variation to determine his or hers . When we have coffee together in the morning/afternoon — we use the pair.
