Small Stone – 1-16-2015

Small Stone 2015Nuances of change
Everything out of sync
Slow motion movement
Usually curled tail tucked
Icy blue eyes dull
Licking lips
Walk, tail, eyes, mouth
Emergency trip to vet
Big tough guy turned pitiful boy

What are small stones?

A small stone is a short piece of writing (any style) that precisely captures a fully-engaged moment for you. The process of discovering small stones is as significant as the finished creation. Searching for small stones encourages you to keep your senses on the “alive and alert” status. Involve yourself with a new set of eyes, ears, nose, mouth, fingers, feelings and mind. In short … OPEN, OPEN, OPEN!

Oh, dear. I hope all is well. When the light leaves their eyes, it’s distressing as can be. Sending along good thoughts for your darling.

Thank you! This is the first time he is sick, so we do not have previous “sick” behavior to compare … we have him kenneled just to be safe and better monitoring. HOPEFULLY, no emergency vet visits over the weekend.

  4. Oh no! Is your boy okay? What did the vet say? Cat or dog?

It is my big boy husky – Utah.
She is not sure what is wrong – xrays do not show obstruction, so we have to keep a close watch over him. If he continues to vomit, we have to take him to the Emergency Vet immediately (since it is the weekend). Tonight, we are not giving him anything, and will try food in the morning!
