  2. Absolutely beautiful tree, I see by one other comment, it has grown in that fashion in the grounds of The Chapel of the Holy Cross.
Perseverance through Adversity, has made a wonderful piece of Art from Mother Nature.

It has indeed! I am amazed at the perseverance of so many I found growing in unusual places. I would not expect the same results if planted on purpose! 😀 Thank you for your visit and comment.

Love the sculptural curve of the tree and wonder if the tree grew that way because of the house or if the house was built that way to accommodate the tree!! Here is my tree of the week, Becca: https://judydykstrabrown.com/2016/08/14/sunday-trees-challenge-20160814/

A lovely tree. It looks almost like an oversized Bonsai

  7. The trees in our garden here in SW France are between 500 and 1000 years old. I never know which I like to photograph best, the Plane trees, the Ash, the Limes? Lots of photos over on my blog http://www.ourfrenchoasis.com

Now, that’s the very definition of opportunistic! Instead of “bloom where you are planted,” it seems to be following advice to “grow where you happen to land.”
