What is Nurturing Thursday, you ask?

Think about it … In our amazing but highly competitive and aggressive society:

  • How many of us truly feel good about ourselves?
  • How often do we extend to ourselves … the same courtesies, considerations, nurturing, forgiveness and understanding we bestow a loved one, a friend, or even a stranger?

With the ongoing intention to accept myself with an open heart rather than label myself as “good” or “bad” OR a “success” or “failure” … I challenge myself, and I challenge YOU to  treat ourselves with the same kindness, caring, and compassion we show a good friend.  My goal for this year continues with striving and thriving in an atmosphere of self-compassion and self-kindness in my life.  What about you?

To “give this planet a much needed shot of fun, support and positive energy” … I dub Thursdays as Nurturing Thursday.

If any of my readers are interested in joining the nurturing, I applaud and welcome you to do so … the more the merrier!!

Yes, and the hard part is just coming to the realization of how much of it is someone else’s drama, not our own! Once we can do that, the rest of it is much easier.

Excellent advice, Becca! I’ve had a number of Eeyores in my life and I have learned not to let them bring me down! Here is my contribution this week:https://www.whimsyandjoy.com/blog/2017/2/9/backyard-beauty

I’m trying dear Becca, but those people are insistent, they don’t let go easily. https://teandpaper.com/2017/02/09/nurturing-thursday-inner-child/
