That’s how both of my parents felt. We lived on a treeless prairie but every house they lived in, the first thing they did was plant lots of trees. Four houses in our home town are surrounded by trees thanks to them.

I apologize, I did not see your previous question. When I was little, and spent the weekend with my grandmother, she and I would walk to church on Sundays. During the spring, the area along the way was full of pink buttercups. I would pick a bouquet of them, and sniff ending with a yellow nose. We’d pretend to sip tea … thus a whimsical nod to those memories. 😀

Oh, the butter cups I know are yellow! 🙂 I googled for *butter cup tea* and was amazed to discover the plants are poisonous. So possibly the name butter cup is used for different species.
