    Too bad it had to lose that big limb on the left, but what a reminder that losses in life don’t have to mean the end of beauty!

      Claire — it is an Live Oak. These are very popular in the south of USA. It stays evergreen and is quite majestic. Although, this is not one of ours … We have 3 of Live Oaks that are over 100 years old.
