255th Nurturing Thursday
Meg mentioned her positive sprouting seeds last week —
It’s great when we manage and cultivate our positive self talk tactics.
How are you doing? To what are you listening?

What is Nurturing Thursday, you ask?
Think about it … In our amazing but highly competitive and aggressive society:
- How many of us truly feel good about ourselves?
- How often do we extend to ourselves … the same courtesies, considerations, nurturing, forgiveness and understanding we bestow a loved one, a friend, or even a stranger?
With the ongoing intention to accept myself with an open heart rather than label myself as “good” or “bad” OR a “success” or “failure” … I challenge myself, and I challenge YOU to treat ourselves with the same kindness, caring, and compassion we show a good friend. My goal for this year continues with striving and thriving in an atmosphere of self-compassion and self-kindness in my life. What about you?
To “give this planet a much needed shot of fun, support and positive energy” … I dub Thursdays as Nurturing Thursday.
If any of my readers are interested in joining the nurturing, I applaud and welcome you to do so … the more the merrier!!

Excellent advice Becca, I must admit I do listen to that nasty inner voice occasionally, but try to stay tuned in to positive thoughts a lot more.🌼
Hope you are doing well. Just reading some old posts today and noted your comment.
I wish you a wonderful week.😆

Yes, Becca, that awful little self-talk chattering things no one; especially us, wants to hear.

LOL … forgot to add my post … it was that lil guy chattering. He distracted me into thinking he was saying something important. Have a superb weekend. : )

The graphic says it all. I have been my own victim of negative self-talk! I’ve been reading a wonderful Christian book called “Me, Myself and Lies” by Jennifer Rothschild.
