    On a recent holiday I pound the most incredibly huge trees with roots that ran across the ground for metres. You have inspired me to sort through my tree photograghs.
    Just beautiful.

    I’m not so fond of formal gardens, or close-cropped hedges like the ones here, but the trees make up for it all. They may have had their trunks “managed” a bit in their youth, but they’re certainly interesting now.
