What is Nurturing Thursday, you ask?
Think about it … In our amazing but highly competitive and aggressive society:
- How many of us truly feel good about ourselves?
- How often do we extend to ourselves … the same courtesies, considerations, nurturing, forgiveness and understanding we bestow a loved one, a friend, or even a stranger?
With the ongoing intention to accept myself with an open heart rather than label myself as “good” or “bad” OR a “success” or “failure” … I challenge myself, and I challenge YOU to treat ourselves with the same kindness, caring, and compassion we show a good friend. My goal for this year continues with striving and thriving in an atmosphere of self-compassion and self-kindness in my life. What about you?
To “give this planet a much needed shot of fun, support and positive energy” … I dub Thursdays as Nurturing Thursday.
If any of my readers are interested in joining the nurturing, I applaud and welcome you to do so … the more the merrier!!

This is such a cute message. We really need to pat ourselves.

Yes, there will always be something that didn’t get done, but when put in perspective it usually is small enough not to matter.

A good reminder. Too often we berate ourselves for what we didn’t get done rather than focusing on what we did accomplish! 😁
