What is Nurturing Thursday, you ask?

Think about it … In our amazing but highly competitive and aggressive society:

  • How many of us truly feel good about ourselves?
  • How often do we extend to ourselves … the same courtesies, considerations, nurturing, forgiveness and understanding we bestow a loved one, a friend, or even a stranger?

With the ongoing intention to accept myself with an open heart rather than label myself as “good” or “bad” OR a “success” or “failure” … I challenge myself, and I challenge YOU to treat ourselves with the same kindness, caring, and compassion we show a good friend. My goal for this year continues with striving and thriving in an atmosphere of self-compassion and self-kindness in my life. What about you?

To “give this planet a much needed shot of fun, support and positive energy” … I dub Thursdays as Nurturing Thursday.

If any of my readers are interested in joining the nurturing, I applaud and welcome you to do so … the more the merrier!!

  4. Yes, thoughts are very powerful but even more powerful when said.
Great quotes about how powerful we really are. Hope you enjoy my post …

Sometimes thoughts just show up at random — but, when they do, at least we don’t have to take them too seriously. Happy Thursday!
