What is Nurturing Thursday, you ask?
Think about it … In our amazing but highly competitive and aggressive society:
- How many of us truly feel good about ourselves?
- How often do we extend to ourselves … the same courtesies, considerations, nurturing, forgiveness and understanding we bestow a loved one, a friend, or even a stranger?
With the ongoing intention to accept myself with an open heart rather than label myself as “good” or “bad” OR a “success” or “failure” … I challenge myself, and I challenge YOU to treat ourselves with the same kindness, caring, and compassion we show a good friend. My goal for this year continues with striving and thriving in an atmosphere of self-compassion and self-kindness in my life. What about you?
To “give this planet a much needed shot of fun, support and positive energy” … I dub Thursdays as Nurturing Thursday.
If any of my readers are interested in joining the nurturing, I applaud and welcome you to do so … the more the merrier!!

My Journey is leading me to gradually disconnect from social media. I will be closing certain accounts as they lead to failure and false hope. It’s time for me to enter into Silence.

I find there are benefits from times of silence, and retreats of reflection.

My retreat might be permanent. I quit Facebook and deleted one of my blogs. Social media promotes wickedness and evil.

I ignore the wickedness and evil. I either delete, unfollow, move-on quickly, or change the channel. Wickedness and evil will not win in my life, or ruin my enjoyment the Light or beauty of the Light. I do things to raise my energetic vibrations.

Some things can’t be ignored. Especially in this racist country. For many life is ugly. That’s why so many suffer because their cries for help are ignored. I don’t have that bubble of protection. I Live in the real world. I’m fighting for the underdog. For those of us who have been kicked to the curb and cast out. That fake Norman Rockwell America doesn’t exist anymore. Actually never did.

I don’t have the luxury of ignoring evil. The world is evil and wicked when you are judged based on your skin color, ethnic Group or religion. I can’t hide. There’s no Place to be me.
