375th Sunday Trees

I love that gnarly old tree trunk, telling its story in its fissures and furrows.
Here’s my contribution for this Sunday Trees prompt, spurred by the realities some I know are facing, forever changed.

They may have kept it for the pollinators like carpenter bees that build their nests in old wood. You can go to a box store and buy the lumber to build a home base for them, or you can keep your tree!

I like old gnarly wood, I often see faces and other shapes of things in its craggy bark.
