Our 1st Peach Tree

as well as the high winds and thunder-storm!

You have some really beautiful photos of your peach tree and I do believe you will have some tasty peaches from them if they produce. With all those flowers I think you have a chance. I wish you all the luck with it.

I’m so glad. I had friends in the hill country whose trees were in fully bloom when their last hard freeze came through, but they seem to have survived it, too. Tough Texans!

Unfortunately, so many of our favorite peach orchards in Fredericksburg have quit with peaches — mostly because of the unpredictable and untimely freezes. I hope we are lucky.

So glad they survived – the photos are pretty and I almost thought this was a flowering cherry –
We had a peach tree for a few years and it was fun growing our own
