I used to be the “local” walk-on bus tour “guide” to share stories about the area. The groups were usually “senior” citizens who were funny, engaging, interested in what I had to say. I only did day trips with them, but a longer trip would have been fun, I think. Enjoy your trip with your mom — those kinds of adventures will leave you wiht smiles of remembories!

I love being with seniors… not that I’m all that young … but they seem
to have a care free attitude that is infectious. i leanr so much from them
I always teel them – “I want to be just like you” – and not give a hoot about a thing.
Have a Fun time …!!!!

My mom used to make those trips, too. Gosh, I wish she was around to make just one more. You must be having quite a time – are you going to see the Corn Palace in Mitchell? It was one of the Seven Wonders of my childhood world!

Yes, I have a 90 year old neighbour who is out walking every day, in any weather. I keep telling her that she’s my inspiration…I whip out for a quick chat whenever I catch her walking past my property. You are giving your mom such a gift, Becca. The gift of you.
