My niece works with charcoal … her senior project in college was a display using negatives for her images — they were huge pieces as well. I believe she did 15-20 of them. I love charcoal, but do not know anything about using them. I am strictly watercolors at this point!! Thank you for all of your visiting and commenting. 😀

I have a few of my sister’s sketch pads, she used to enjoy working with Charcoal.. I’d sat and watch her for hours on end, roses and snowy church scenes mixed with oil pastel.. She was an amazing artist.. Beautiful and pure,.. your haiku made me think of her.. and all those times I spent studying her and watching her as she sketched.. Thank you for sharing..
