Traveling accross Florida from Ft. Lauderdale to St. Pete…we saw many of these, which is why I wrote ‘Sway Me’… We are safe back home now. But alas…another portion of our ‘weed’ tree hanging onto the bank of the creek was either struck my lightening or just by gust of wind, fell land ward taking down our ornimental cherry with it. The bunnies seemed to like the eating cherry tree leaves. We’ll have pleanty of fire wood when it all dries out and gets choped up.

These trees look like the Everglades. I used to dabble in wood carving, and I used cypress knees. But I didn’t gather them. Too many snakes and gators!

  5. Both of which I love. I will say as I know that your life is difficult now – I see it reflected in the darkness of the water. This is so appropriate. I really love the way you have taken up the Sunday trees. I sense that it is always a respite for you. I miss Isabel, you may remember that she initiated the Sunday Trees. I fear the worst for her, I believe that she was ill. I have gone back to her site although not recently. I want to say she wrote in April of 2012. I may be off. I need to go back.

Becca, you have truly moved me with your sharing on my blog. You have given so much in that reply. Thank you. I feel a real simpatico with you. I will respond a bit later. (((Hugs))) Liz

In spite of the daylight and colours, it would make a good setting for a ghost story!
